The City of Thousand Oaks Police Department has contracted with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their police services for many years. When someone is arrested in Thousand Oaks, they will be taken to the Thousand Oaks Police Station on East Olsen Road.

This is only a temporary holding facility and bail bonds may not be posted there. Once processed, inmates will be transported to the Ventura County Jail. This is the main county jail where bail bonds may be posted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This facility takes inmates from surrounding agencies that may not have their own jail facility and holds both male and female pre-trial detainees.
