Release From Jail
When you call our bail bond company, one of a licensed bail bondsman will ask just few quick questions to get the process started. We do this to gather important information regarding the defendant’s situation and assess any risk involved in processing the bail bond. This will also help us determine whether or not any collateral will be required. We will usually approve your bond in just a few short minutes.
After paperwork has been completed and payment is arranged, a bondsman will post bail at the jail. Depending upon different circumstances at the jail, release from a Ventura County Jail Facility may take from approximately 2 to 8 hours.
Bail Bond Financing
The cost of a bail bond is mandated by California state law and is typically 10% of the total bail amount. There are no taxes or additional fees charged for a bail bond. As an example, should the bail be set at $10,000, it will cost $1,000 to have the defendant bailed out. We have found that a credit card is both the easiest and fastest way of paying for a bail bond. We always accept VISA, Master Card, American Express or Discover. You may also pay by cash.
We understand the cost of bail may represent a financial burden for some. Should you need financing, we offer creative financial solutions and have several bail bond payment options to choose from. We will let you know if you qualify for financing when you call. We will work out a payment program designed for you. The best thing is that all of this can be done quickly, confidentially, and most importantly, conveniently over the phone.
