Arrest & Booking

When someone is arrested in Redding, they will be transported to the Shasta County Jail for booking. This process includes fingerprinting, photographs (mug shots), a background check and nationwide warrant search. If there are no outstanding warrants for the arrestee, a bail amount will be set.

The booking process can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to complete. It will depend on how busy jail staff is at the time they are brought in. The defendant will have access to a phone during booking so that they can call someone for help with getting bailed out of jail.

Fast and Easy Bail Bonds

The bail bond process can be complicated if you’ve never worked with it before.
