The Northeastern Division station nor the substations have a jail facility. Therefore, if someone is arrested in the area that encompasses the Northeastern Division, men will be transported to the San Diego Men’s Central Jail and women will be transported to the Las Colinas Jail.
When someone is arrested by the San Diego Police Department, they must be booked into the jail system. The booking process can take from 2 to 4 hours or more. A background check will be conducted for any previous warrants. After background checks
