The Mid City Division, serves the areas and communities of Azalea/Hollywood Park, Castle, Cherokee Point, Chollas Creek, Colina del Sol, College Area East, College Area West, Corridor, Darnall, El Cerrito, Fairmont Village, Fox Canyon, Gateway, Islenair, Kensington, Normal Heights, Oak Park, Rolando, Swan Canyon, Talmadge, Teralta East, Teralta West, and Webster. Mid City Division serves a population of nearly 160,000 people and encompasses 15.7 square miles.

Males who are arrested in the above areas will typically be transported to the San Diego Men’s Central Jail downtown. Women will be transferred to the Las Colinas Women’s Jail located in Santee. The Mid City Division station does not have a jail or temporary holding cell at their facility.
