Bail Costs
In these uncertain economic times, we understand that not everyone may have a perfect credit history. You may not be in the position to afford the full amount of a bail. That’s where we come in by offering flexible payment options. We never charge any finance fees, charges or taxes, and we offer no collateral bail bonds to qualified applicants. We always accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We find that most of our clients opt for the convenience of a credit card as this is the quickest way to obtain a bail bond.
By law in most states, including California, the cost of a bail bond is generally 10% of the total amount of the bail. For example: If the amount of the bail is $20,000, you will pay $2,000 to have your loved one or friend released from jail as soon as possible.
Coronado Police and Jail
Coronado runs an independent police department which serves the city’s population of approximately 26,000 people.
The Coronado Police Station does not include a holding cell or jail facility so, those arrested in Coronado will be taken to San Diego County’s jails. T
he Coronado Police Department will transport adult men to the San Diego Central Jail Facility in downtown San Diego.
Adult female arrestees are typically taken to the Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee.
The booking process at these jails will take from 2 to 10 hours depending on how busy the jail staff is at a given time. Bail bonds may be processed at either of these facilities.
