The Borrego Springs Sheriff Station, which was established in 1967, serves and protects an unincorporated area of 550 square miles that includes the Ocotillo Wells State Recreation Vehicular Area and Anza-Borrego State Park. Initially, this station was a satellite office for the Julian Substation. But then things changed in1993, when the Ranchita/Warner Springs Substation took command of it. In 2008, the Borrego Station was moved to accommodate future growth and it now has enough space for a host of law enforcement agencies that include the California Highway Patrol (CHP), California State Parks and Bureau of Land Management.
Borrego Springs is a mainly desert area that has a remarkably diverse elevation that ranges from near sea level to as high as 6,600 feet! People love to go off road here, so the Ocotillo Wells State Recreation Vehicular Area is a popular vehicle park for dune-buggy, ATV, motorcycle and four-wheel drive enthusiasts. From October to May, between 50,000 to 150,000 off-road visitors and campers visit Borrego Springs. The Anza-Borrego State Park also attracts thousands of campers each year for hiking, photography and sightseeing.
During the off-road season, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, and the Borrego Springs Station in particular, provides contract law enforcement services inside local California State Parks.
Borrego Springs Bail Bond Friendly
At Tonya Page Bail Bonds, we won’t overcharge you or surprise you with any hidden fees. All we charge is the 10% premium (that is, 10% of the cost of your full bail amount), as required by California law.
This can be paid in cash, Visa, MasterCard, and with approved local checks. And, under certain circumstances, if you don’t have the entire premium amount, we offer credit and payment plans.
Stability in the community and steady employment are the two things we look at when approving credit. My bail bondsmen consider every case individually. If you and your loved one are established, collateral to secure the bond can often be waived.
Other services we provide include: obtaining charge or warrant information for you and answering any and all bail bond questions you may have — free.
