Knowing What to Expect: The Bail Bond Process
From the moment your call comes in, an experienced bail bond agent will help you through the bail bond process. We will ask questions related to the defendant as well as yourself in order to quickly approve the bail bond. It is important for you to understand your responsibilities should you decide to bail someone out of jail, so please ask when you call. I know that this can be uncomfortable. Please know that all information you provide is confidential and is strictly used to determine how we can best help you.
The cost of the bail bond is 10% of the total bail amount. If the bail is $20,000, which is an average bail amount in Irvine, your cost will be $2,000. This fee is for the service of assuming the risk of the bond and is generally paid prior to release from jail. I accept all major credit cards and can work out no fee payment plans when appropriate.
Once the bond is approved, there are generally two simple documents to sign. To process the paperwork and bail bond payment, I can meet you at the Irvine jail, the Musick Jail, or the Santa Ana jail. If you prefer and are paying by credit card, we can use email and fax. I can usually quickly complete Irvine bail bond the entire process from phone call to filing the bond with the jail in less than an hour.

If you or someone you know has a court or officer ordered booking, you may be able to arrange bail in advance of turning yourself into the police.
