The Bail Bond Process
When you call, you will speak directly with a licensed California bail bondsman who understands the local Huntington Beach system. We will answer your questions about how the bail process works. To move forward with your bail bond, we will need to know the charges, the bail amount and how long the arrestee has been in custody. I can contact the Huntington Beach Jail for you if you are sure of the charges and bail amounts. It can take some time for the Huntington Beach Police Department to provide full information as they must first complete the arrest and booking process. Generally, if I am aware of the charges and the jurisdiction, I can give you a good idea about the bail bond amount and the time for release.
In order to determine if I can help you, I will ask questions about the defendant and yourself and get you through the bail bond approval process over the phone quickly. The questions asked will help me to determine the defendant’s probability of returning to court to address the charges. I want to make certain that you understand the responsibility that you are taking in bailing someone out of jail.

The Huntington Beach Jail houses primarily pre-trial arrestees. It has facilities to hold 56 men and 16 women. Additionally, the jail houses sentenced inmate workers. During the booking processes, arrestees at the Huntington Beach Police Department are also asked a series of medical and mental health questions. Nurse Detention Officers are available at the Huntington Beach Police Department to complete medical screenings of detainees. They take blood samples for drunk driving and narcotics related arrests. DNA samples can also be taken for the Department of Justice’s Offender Data Base. I provide DUI bail bonds, should you be in need of that service.
All inmates booked into the Huntington Beach City Jail are eligible to be released on bail bond, unless specified by warrant, court order, bail schedule, or the level of the inmate’s intoxication makes it unsafe to release the inmate.
Huntington Beach arrestees may be bailed out 24/7. Detainees who are not bailed out quickly or otherwise released from jail may be transferred to the Orange County jail in Santa Ana.
Fast, Reliable Service
After information has been gathered and your bail bond is approved, there are generally two simple bail bond documents to sign. When payment is being made by credit card, I usually process the paperwork by email and fax. If you prefer, a bail agent can meet you at the Huntington Beach jail.
This process may seem cumbersome. As a professional bail agent, I can usually get you from first phone call to filing the bail bond with the jail in less than an hour.
