Bail Cost, Payment and Processing

The cost of the bail bond is 10% of the total bail amount. The bail schedule is approved by the judges of the Superior Court of California for Orange County. All bail amounts can be adjusted at the direction of the Court.

If the bail is $20000, which is the average Cypress bail amount , your cost will be $2000. This fee is for the service of assuming the risk of the bail bond and is generally paid prior to release from jail. I accept all major credit cards and can work out no fee payment plans when appropriate.

Once the bail bond is approved, there are basically two simple documents to sign. To process the bail bond paperwork and payment, I will meet you at the Cypress jail or we can use email and fax. I can usually complete Cypress bail bonds, the entire process from phone call to filing the bail bond with the jail, in less than an hour.

As a temporary holding facility, the Cypress Police Department jail provides for the booking and processing of incoming arrestees on felony and misdemeanor charges in the City of Cypress.

After processing, detainees are generally transferred to the Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.

All inmates booked into the Cypress City Jail are eligible to be released on bail, unless specified by a warrant, court order or bail schedule.

As a professional bail agent, I advise clients to start the bail process as quickly as possible. While I offer Santa Ana bail bonds, if it is possible to arrange bail while the defendant is in the Cypress jail, the time spent in jail will be significantly less. When a detainee is transferred, they must be processed out of Cypress facility and into the Orange County Jail, which takes time. Additionally, because the jail is so large and so busy, the Santa Ana County Jail is known to have one of the longest release times in the County.
