A spokesperson for the Richmond Police Department has confirmed that investigators are looking into the identities of two men who allegedly engaged in an armed robbery in the early morning hours of February 28th.
The victim said he was walking by himself just after 2 a.m., when he was approached by two other men. One of the men pulled a gun, he said, and demanded he turn over his cash. The suspects fled on foot once they had what they wanted.
Authorizes say they conducted an extensive search of the area, but they were unable to locate the robbers. No other information on their approximate heights, weights or builds was immediately available.
When the pair is captured, they’ll be arrested and transported to the Contra Costa County Jail to be booked and processed. The cost for the defendants to arrange Martinez Jail bail bonds will be 10% of their total bail amount. If the defendants are found to have outstanding warrants, the defendants will need to post bail bonds for the new charges in addition to bail bonds for their warrants if they want to be released from custody.
