Law enforcement services are provided by the Susanville Police Department, which includes nine patrol officers, one detective, three sergeants, one captain and the chief of police, as well as two civilian personnel, a community service officer and an administrative assistant. When someone is arrested in Lassen County, they will likely be transported to the Adult Detention Facility for booking. This process includes fingerprinting the arrestee and taking photographs for their “mug shots.” a background check and nationwide warrant search will be done.
