How Do Bail Bonds Work?

Once the defendant’s bail has been set, you can pay the entire amount of the bail, in cash or a certified check, to the court or jail. This money will be held until the court proceedings have been completed.

Since not everyone can afford to pay such a large sum of money in a moment’s notice,  Tonya Page Bail Bonds is available to help.

When you enlist the aid of a bail bondsman, you will only need to have a fee which equals 10% of the total bail amount. For example, if the defendant’s bail has been set at $20,000, then the amount paid to a bondsman would be $2,000. Once the fee has been paid, we will work quickly to post the bail amount on your behalf and gain the release of your loved one as soon as possible.

Sometimes, it still isn’t possible to have this amount ready when you need it the most. That is why we can help you with a payment plan for those who qualify. All it takes to find out if you qualify is a few short minutes with one of our agents over the phone. We also accept all major credit cards, for your convenience.Give us a call right away. We can start the bond process right over the phone, through fax or email.

A bail bondsman will also be able to meet you in person. Our phone line is open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week when you call 1-877-861-3761 or locally at 661-347-1395.
