Bail Costs
When you choose to work with a bail bondsman, you will pay them a fee known as the bail bond premium. In California, this amount is set by the Department of Insurance. This fee is equal to 10% of the total amount of bail. For example, if bail is set at $20,000, then you will pay a bondsman $2,000. This fee is not refundable. Even if the defendant is found not guilty or if no charges are filed, the bondsman is still entitled to this fee in exchange for the service they provide.
Tonya Page Bail Bonds understands that sometimes, even this reduced amount can be a little more than you are able to pay at one time. That is why we gladly accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We will also work out a bail bond payment plan if necessary.
We know that this is a very trying time for you, and that is why we will work quickly to get your loved one out of the Inyo County Jail.
