Bail Bonds in Selma
Bail Process & Costs
If you know someone who has been arrested in Selma, the bail bonds process can be overwhelming. We work with it everyday and we have handled clients all across California. The bondsmen at Tonya Page Bail Bonds are caring professionals. We will work to make sure that this distressing time goes smoother for you. With our help, your loved one will spend as little time in jail as possible.
You don’t necessarily need to work with a bondsman. As soon as the amount of bail has been set, you will have the option to post the entire amount of bail to the jail or court. In many cases, however, bail can be set very high. If you are like most people, having an extra $10,000 ready at a moment’s notice to bail someone out of jail just isn’t possible.
When this is the case, you can seek the services of a licensed bail bond agent. A bail bondsman charges a fee equaling 10% of the bail amount. For example, if bail is set at $10,000, then you will pay the bondsman $1,000. After completing all of the necessary paperwork, the bondsman will post the bond at the jail. Depending on how busy the jail staff is, it could take several hours for your loved one to be released after their bail has been posted.
We know that sometimes, even the reduced cost of using a bail bondsman can still be more than you are able to pay at once. That is why Tonya Page Bail Bonds accepts all major credit cards as a quick, convenient payment method. In many cases, we can even work out a bail bond payment plan at no additional cost, and most of our bail bonds require no collateral.
We are here for you 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. We can complete all of the paperwork over the phone, by fax and email, or one of our agents would be happy to meet you at your home, office or the jail.
