Phone: 530-747-5400

The Davis Police Department is responsible for providing law enforcement services within the city limits of Davis. It is their mission to attain the highest quality of life and security for anyone who lives, works and visits in the City of Davis.

The Department embraces community oriented policing. There is a Bicycle Unit that allows officers to be directly available to citizens throughout the city as well as provide support to patrol officers. The Traffic Unit consists of 3 motorcycle officers. Motorcycles are used to give officers easier accessibility to traffic problems. In total, the Patrol Division of the department has 2 Lieutenants, 5 Sergeants, 28 sworn officers, 4 reserve officers, 3 civilian police service specialists, and a community services officer. The Patrol division responds to an average of 4,600 calls each month.

If your loved one has been arrested by the Davis Police Department, they will likely be transported to the Monroe Detention Center in Woodland. Here, they will go through the booking process, which includes fingerprinting, photographs, and a nationwide background and warrant check. This could take several hours to complete if the jail staff is handling a large amount of inmates.

We can work with Monroe Detention Center 24 hours a day to post a bond for your friend or family member.

Bail Bond Payment Options

If you agree to bail out your loved one from jail, you have a few options. You could choose to pay the full amount of bail to the jail. Most often, this will need to be with cash or a cashier's check. If bail is only a few hundred dollars, this may be the best option. If you pay the full bail amount, it will be returned to you at the conclusion of the defendant's case.

You also have the option of using a bail bondsman. You will want to call a bondsman, having as much information about the defendant and their case as you can give. Once paperwork is complete and a bail bond is approved, you will pay the bondsman a "premium." This premium is a fee paid to the bondsman for their services and is equal to 10% of the bail amount. For example, if bail is set at $20,000 you would pay a premium of $2,000. This fee will not be returned, regardless of the outcome of the case.

At Tonya Page Bail Bonds, we accept payments with all major credit cards. In most cases, no collateral is required to obtain a bail bond. We can also work out a payment plan for many of our clients.

A bondsman is available to speak with you 24-hours a day, 7-days a week when you call 1-877-861-3761.

I couldn't believe I was calling to bail out my boss on $100,000 bond. He's a great guy, but I had no idea how to proceed. I can't tell you enough how thankful I was for you holding my hand through the bail process. Again, I would like to express my sincere thanks for your patience and assistance in this matter.
