Bail Bond Payment Options
If you agree to bail out your loved one from jail, you have a few options. You could choose to pay the full amount of bail to the jail. Most often, this will need to be with cash or a cashier's check. If bail is only a few hundred dollars, this may be the best option. If you pay the full bail amount, it will be returned to you at the conclusion of the defendant's case.
You also have the option of using a bail bondsman. You will want to call a bondsman, having as much information about the defendant and their case as you can give. Once paperwork is complete and a bail bond is approved, you will pay the bondsman a "premium." This premium is a fee paid to the bondsman for their services and is equal to 10% of the bail amount. For example, if bail is set at $20,000 you would pay a premium of $2,000. This fee will not be returned, regardless of the outcome of the case.
At Tonya Page Bail Bonds, we accept payments with all major credit cards. In most cases, no collateral is required to obtain a bail bond. We can also work out a payment plan for many of our clients.
A bondsman is available to speak with you 24-hours a day, 7-days a week when you call 1-877-861-3761.
