San Diego, CA 92130
Front Counter hours at the station are Monday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from noon to 4:00 pm. The office is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
If someone has been arrested in these areas, males will be transported to the Men’s Central Jail located in downtown San Diego. Women will be taken to the Las Colinas Women’s Jail. The SDPD Northwestern Division Police Station does not have a jail on their premises, as such, bail cannot be posted here.
When someone is being booked, a long period of time may pass before the San Diego County jail system has logged that person’s arrest into their computer system. If you should you contact the jail too quickly after your friend or family member has been arrested, you may come to find that they have not been cleared for bail yet. This is a normal procedure as the pre-booking period can take a while to complete. However, once they are clear, a bail bond can be posted 24 hours a day.
