Bail Bonds for St. Helena

We understand how stressful and overwhelming it can be when a friend or family member is arrested. The first thing you want to do is find the fastest way to bring them home safely. Contacting a licensed California bondsman should be the first thing you do after learning of your loved one's arrest.

Our team of agents at Tonya Page Bail Bonds will be able to answer all of your questions. We're available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, including all holidays. The simple paperwork for a bail bond can be done by phone, fax, email, or in person.

When you call, it will be helpful to have some information available: defendant's full legal name, list of charges, bail amount, address, and employment information. If you don't have this information, we can still help.

We gladly accept payments made with all major credit cards. Collateral is not required for most bail bonds. In many cases, we can make a bail bond payment plan for qualifying clients.

At Tonya Page Bail Bonds, a licensed bondsman will be able to answer all of your questions about St. Helena bail bonds when you call 877-224-5266.

St. Helena Police Department

St. Helena Police Department
1480 Main St.
St. Helena, CA 94574
Phone: 707-967-2850

St. Helena is known as the heart of Napa Valley. The Department consists of 13 sworn officers including the Chief of Police, four dispatchers and two community service officers. They provide policing services to the 6,100 residents of St. Helena.

Anyone arrested by the St. Helena Police Department  (SHPD) will be transported to the
Napa County Jail for booking. They will be fingerprinted and photographed, and a background check and warrant search will be done. After booking is complete, the defendant will be given a bail amount and they will be eligible to post bail or have a bondsman post a bail bond.

Bail Bond Cost

Most states regulate the amount a bail bondsman can charge as a bail bond premium. Premiums are non-negotiable and there are no hidden taxes or fees when obtaining a bail bond. In California, this amount is 10%.  If bail is set at $20,000, the cost of a bail bond is $2,000.

When searching for the right bondsman, you may come across a few who offer to accept an illegally lower fee. It may be tempting to go with one of these services to save some money, but you must ask yourself: if they're willing to bend the rules in this instance, in what other ways might they be willing to break the law?

Always go with a reputable, licensed bail bond agency. You have the right to inquire about a company's status through the Department of Insurance.

I can't thank you enough for making us feel like we had someone on our side from the very beginning. I greatly appreciated your advice based on your many years of experience in observing how felony cases are handled. All your staff have the qualities people need when they are in a stressful situation and don't really know what to do next. I also commend you for your philosophy of educating clients and the general public about the bail bond process as well as the jail system.
