Salinas, CA 93906
The officers at the Monterey Central Patrol Station are responsible for policing the city of Salinas. Their offices are located inside the Sheriff's Public Safety Building. The officers are responsible for an area of 1,400 square miles. The area is divided into 5 jurisdictions which extend south to the city of Gonzales, west to the marina, and north to the county lines of Santa Cruz and San Benito. The former Fort Ord is also included in the territory.
The department has several Community Field Offices to make them more easily accessible to residents, located in Castroville, Chualar, and Pajaro. Central Station in Salinas is the largest and busiest station and receives most of the service calls.
If your friend or family member has been arrested by the officers of the Central Patrol Station, they will be taken to the Monterey County Jail, located near the Sheriff's Public Safety Building at 1410 Natividad Rd. Here, they will be processed through the use of Iris Scan, digital imaging and digital fingerprinting.
The booking process is done completely on the computer. This helps ensure an accurate identification of inmates by electronically sending fingerprints to the Department of Justice in Sacramento. To help reduce security risks, the jail offers, at additional cost, video conferencing and video arraignment.
Once the amount of bail has been set, we can start a bail bond 24-hours a day so that your loved one can be released as soon as possible. When you call us at 1-877-861-3761, we can start all of the necessary paperwork and help walk you through the entire bail bonds process. Your loved one's time will be much better spent in speaking to a lawyer instead of sitting in a jail cell.
Bail Bond Costs & Payment
The cost of a bail bond, called a bail bond premium, is set by the California Department of Insurance. This amount is non-negotiable and non-refundable.Currently, the amount of a bail bond premium is equal to 10% of the total set bail amount. For example, if bail is set at $20,000, then you will pay a bail bondsman $2,000 for their services.
In exchange for this fee, the bail bondsman will then post the full amount of bail to the jail or court so that your friend or family member can be released as soon as possible. You should be aware that this fee will not be returned to you, no matter the outcome of the case.
Tonya Page Bail Bonds understands that not everyone can afford to pay a large sum of money at any given moment. That is why we are flexible in our payment options for bail bonds. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover to help process a bail bond quickly. In most cases, we offer a no-collateral bail bond.
For those who qualify, we will even work out a payment plan to help ease the burden of a large payment.
