How Much Do I Pay The Bail Bondsman?

Question:  If your bail is set at $8,000, how much do you pay the bail bondsman?

Answer:  Bondsman fees can vary per state, but they will generally range between 8% – 15% of the total bail amount.  I am a California bondsman and the fee is 10%, so in this case you could expect to pay $800.
