The Plumas County Sheriff’s Department is responsible for the law enforcement throughout the county as well as the administration of the Plumas County Jail, located Northwest of Reno, NV.  Anyone arrested in Plumas County, will be brought here for booking and processing.

The facility was built in 1976, remodeled in 1986, and is currently rated to house 67 inmates at one time.

Visiting

Wednesday:
Female Inmates- 6pm to 8pm
Male Inmates- 8pm to 10pm

Saturday:
Female Inmates- 9am to 12pm
Male Inmates- 9am to 12pm

Sunday:
Female Inmates- 1pm to 4pm
Male Inmates- 9am to 2pm
