Bail Bonds for Southwest Detention Facility
When someone is arrested in the Temecula area they will typically be transported to the Southwest Detention Center. Women may be transported to the Banning Jail on South Hargrave Street in Banning.
Rules for Visiting at the Southwest Detention Center
- All inmates incarcerated in Riverside County Jails are allowed a maximum of two visits per week.
- Each visit will be approximately 45 minutes.
- People entering a the Southwest Detention Center to visit an inmate must present an acceptable picture ID. (this includes all forms of government identification cards).
- No smoking is allowed in any part of the jail including the lobby.
- Visitors must be 18 years or older to visit. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Restrooms are available at each facility.
- For attorney or special visits, please contact the facility where the inmate is housed.
- Alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, tear gas, pepper spray (OC dispensers), cameras, or knives are never allowed in visiting area.
- Visitors who bring illegal contraband into the visiting area will be subject to arrest.
- Food or drinks are not allowed in the lobby and visiting areas.
- Visitors must dress in appropriate attire. Visitors who fail to comply with the dress code will be denied their visit. Visitors’ clothing must not refer to gang affiliation, display sexual or lewd comments or pictures, or have the potential for being offensive to others. Clothing must cover the upper torso and lower/mid body parts. Skirts must be at least to mid-thigh length.
- Visitors committing a criminal act anywhere on jail property is subject to arrest.
- Violation of any of the above rules by a visitor may subject them to loss of any visiting privileges.
